Featuring exciting videos of both CSX and Norfolk Southern in the southeast, along with a few surprises here and there too.My name is Eugene Cain and I am from Augusta, GA.I have loved trains all my life and I was just thirteen years old when I began taking photographs of trains.

In 1992 I got my first video camera and began making videos.In 1998 I met Jerry Cooler while out taping in my hometown of Hardeeville,SC.Jerry and I soon became good friends and it was Jerry who inspired me to start S.E. Lowcountry Rail Video!

I then set out to document as much of the deep south as possible.Since I am just north of Savannah, GA, I decided to fan out in all directions  and document all the great locations that exist here in the South.

There are basically two railroads in the Southeast:CSX and Norfolk Southern along with numerous Shortlines dotting the southeast,too and you may see some other surprises along the way!

Since I didn't have any expensive video equipment at the time, I simply chose to do all my videos live.People liked the concept so I have kept it, along with just enough narration to let you know where we are and what's going on.And yes, lots of history in all of the locations.I try to include landmarks like water towers and such to help identify the many locations we visit.You can expect some humor too, as it is impossible to avoid sometimes!So sit back and enjoy the ride!

This has been a labor of love for me so I can share with you some really great hotspots here in the Southeast!I have tried very hard to produce good, quality programs and make them affordable to you , my fellow rail fans!I hope you enjoy each video as much as I enjoyed making them!
